The Re-addressing project has been completed and the notification process for new addresses is finished. USPS has reviewed and released all (23) municipalities in Wyoming County.

Residents and property owners in Wyoming County's  Municipalities who received a mailer will see their old address (according to the tax assessment records) and the new street address listed. If you own a rental property or more than one structure, you may receive multiple new addresses. We must send the property owner the new address information and it is your responsibility to inform your tenants of the address change.

All residents will have a 12 month period from the date they receive these mailers to go through the change of address process. In this 12 month period, USPS has agreed to recognize the old address and the new address. After the 12 month period, the local USPS offices may choose to refuse delivery to the old addresses.

This period of change is provided to allow residents an opportunity to update information with personal address lists and service providers such as: mortgage holders, insurance company, telephone company, electric company, and other utility providers, Wyoming County voters registration, PA State Department of Transportation for Drivers Licenses, Vehicle Registrations etc..., Fishing Licenses, Hunting Licenses, Boat Registrations. Most PA State Licenses & Registrations can be updated on-line (free of charge) at the State's website.

Also, please take note that the mailers you recieve suggest you wait 30 to 60 days before making changes to you records. This is to allow companies, service providers, PennDOT, etc... the time to update their databases with the new address changes from USPS. Many companies purchase address updates from USPS and the updates may take a month or two before their systems recognize the new changes.

Your number MUST be displayed on the front of your house or business. Also, be sure to post your number at the end of your driveway if a number placed on the house would not be visible from the servicing road. (Please notice: HOUSE NUMBERING REQUIREMENTS)

Lake Winola Fire Company is offering House Numbering Signs for resisdents in the Exeter, Falls & Overfield Township areas. Please visit their home page for more information:
